For the longest time, the original CECT P168 iClone was the best selling iPhone clone of all time (and still is). But, the Plus or quad band model has been steadily gaining ground for quite some time. Which is better for you is going to depend greatly on your circumstances, carrier, and what you're looking for in a phone. This article will discuss the similarities and differences between the two to help you decide.
The Addition Of The 850MHZ Band: The original iClone is a tri band and supports networks on 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHZ. This is all most people need, unless your carrier is on the 850MZ band. There are some rural areas of AT&T (and a few additional scattered carriers) which are. A quick call to your network or carrier is usually all that's needed to find out which your carrier uses. If the answer is the 850, (or if you travel outside of your region a lot) you'll likely need to go with the quad band version.

The CECT P168 and CECT P168+ Quad Band Are Very Similar, But There Are A Few Differences: These two phones are very similar in most ways that matter. Both look and function extremely similarly to the original iPhone and both are unlocked and dual sim. This allows you to have two phone numbers or carriers on one phone and also lets you chose which carrier this will be. You aren't stuck with AT&T and you don't have to run to the manufacturer when the battery dies. With a clone, you replace the battery yourself.
Both phones also have the bonus features of additional surround sound speakers and FM radio. Both have the finger touch interface and both are smart phones that allow you to web surf, email, text, message, take photos, listen to and watch MP3s and MP4s and enjoy Bluetooth.
Both are made by Chinese manufacturer CECT who is well known for it's clones and for the very high quality speakers it puts on them.
The differences in the quad band version are a slide unlock feature and a web cam / firmware upgrade. (The touch screen also feels a bit more like glass.)
In terms of price and availability, they remain similar. Both usually start in the 0 dollar range and are available worldwide. These are among the few clones you usually don't have to buy from China or overseas. Accessories for both models are readily available and cheap.
Whether the original tri band iPhone clone (P168) or the quad band version (P168+ Plus) appeals to you more will depend on whether you need the 850 band and whether you value the slide unlock and upgraded web cam / firmware. I own both models and feel you can't go wrong with either one.
